National Council of Women of W.A. is a non-party political, non-sectarian, voluntary organisation dedicated to the advancement of women, their families, and the welfare of society.
National Council of Women of W.A. (Inc) is affiliated with the National Council of Women of Australia, which, in turn, is affiliated with the International Council of Women, which has consultative status (Category 1) with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
The first National Council of Women of Australia was formed in 1896 in New South Wales. The National Council of Women of W.A. was formed in 1911.

Announcement of Inquiry into Care in Residential Aged Care facilities
The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Sport has commenced an
inquiry into Care in Residential Aged Care facilities. The Committee was taking submissions up until
Thursday 8 February 2018.
